What we install
We start with how you use each room, then choose the controls that will be useful day to day. The wall switch still works.
- Smart dimmers and switches, so lighting follows presence, time of day or daylight
- Motorized blinds where the blind maker lets them work without the internet. We say which before quoting
- Audio in each room, playing together or separately
- Controls and wiring planned room by room
- Equipment supplied by us, itemized on the quote and yours to keep
Local control
Equipment that is controlled inside the house keeps working when the internet doesn't. Anything that needs an online service or a subscription is named in the quote before you commit, and nothing on the system is rented.
How it works
- Site visit. We walk the house and ask how you use each room before suggesting anything
- Written quote. Equipment, installation and setup itemized, with the reason for each line
- Installation, with neat cabling as standard
- Walkthrough before we leave: what's where and how to change a schedule
- Optional monthly care agreement for updates and health checks, quoted with the project
Recent work
The last whole-home job was a new build: audio in eleven rooms, smart dimmers through the house, and the network to carry it, all written up before we left.
Pricing
A free site visit first, then one written quote for the equipment, installation and setup. A single room is a small job and a whole house is a different scale. Nothing is ordered until you approve it. Rates are on the pricing page.
