Who we are and how to contact us
George & Co Systems Ltd provides technology services for homes and businesses. This policy covers information collected through this website.

Information you give us
Inquiries and booking requests. We collect the contact details, service choices, appointment preferences, address or area, and messages you submit. We use them to respond, prepare quotes, arrange appointments, and provide the services you request. A booking submission is a request that we confirm with you.
Newsletter. If you sign up, we store your email address, signup time, and the page or form where you subscribed. We use it for occasional technology tips and service updates. You can unsubscribe by emailing hello@georgecosystems.com. Contacting us or requesting a booking does not subscribe you to the newsletter.
Inquiry assistant. When the optional inquiry assistant is enabled, it collects the answers and contact details you choose to submit. It also records a session identifier, steps reached, and selected answers, including when a session ends before a submission. We use these records to respond to submitted inquiries and understand use of the form. The automatic assistant is currently disabled.
SMS signup. If you opt in to text messages, we collect your name, mobile number, consent time, and the consent wording version. We use texts for customer care and service or account notifications. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for assistance. Mobile information is not shared with third parties for their promotional or marketing purposes.
Please avoid putting passwords, financial information, or other sensitive material into website forms. Contact us to arrange a suitable way to share it.
Analytics, browser storage, and logs
We use a self-hosted Plausible analytics service to measure page visits and aggregate information such as referring sites, device and browser types, and approximate country. Plausible does not use tracking cookies or retain raw IP addresses. It uses IP addresses and browser information temporarily to distinguish visits. See Plausible's data policy.
The optional inquiry assistant uses local storage to remember that it has been shown. This value can remain until you clear site data in your browser. The site also uses local storage to remember which of our two offices, Jefferson City or Columbus, you chose or were nearest to, so that pages show the right phone number and city. The first guess comes from your device's time zone, not your location, and nothing is sent anywhere. The site also remembers your light or dark theme choice. These preferences do not contain your contact details. Disabling the assistant does not automatically remove a value saved during an earlier visit.
Our website and form service keep logs for security, abuse prevention, and troubleshooting. Logs can include IP addresses, requested pages or endpoints, and request times. These are separate from the aggregate analytics data.
Storage and service providers
Inquiries are delivered to our business email through Postmark. Booking requests, newsletter subscriptions, and optional assistant submissions and events are also stored on servers we control. Service providers process the information needed to host the site, deliver email, or deliver messages. Postmark's handling is described in its privacy policy.
We do not sell personal information. We share it with service providers as needed to operate the site and respond to your request, or when legally required. We are a United States business. Provider processing locations are governed by the provider's terms and privacy policy.
How long we keep information
Inquiries, bookings, and assistant records are retained as service history. There is currently no fixed automatic deletion period for these records. You may ask us to delete them. We may retain records needed for billing, disputes, legal obligations, or evidence of consent.
Newsletter subscription records are kept while you subscribe. An unsubscribe request stops newsletter use. We may keep a record of that request to avoid contacting you again. SMS consent records are kept while you are opted in and as evidence of consent afterward. Aggregate analytics may be retained without a fixed expiration. Security logs are retained for troubleshooting and abuse prevention under our server retention settings.
Your choices
You can ask to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold, and withdraw consent to optional communications. Other rights may apply depending on where you live. Send requests to privacy@georgecosystems.com. We may need to verify your identity, and some information may need to be retained for legal reasons.
Clear this site's data in your browser to remove stored assistant, office, and theme preferences. Unsubscribe from the newsletter by email, and opt out of texts by replying STOP.
Security, children, and other websites
We use HTTPS, access controls, submission checks, and rate limits to help protect information. No online service can guarantee complete security.
This website is not directed to children under 16. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, contact us so we can address it.
Links to other websites take you to services with their own privacy policies. We update this page when our practices change and show the revision date above.
