Who we are
George & Co Systems Ltd ("we", "our", "us") runs this website, including the business area under /pro (the "Site"). This page describes what the Site actually collects, where that data goes, and how long we keep it.

What we collect and why
1) Forms you fill in
Contact form and chat box. When you use the contact form (or the small chat box that appears on some pages, which sends to the same place), we collect your name, email address, phone number if you give one, the service you're interested in, and your message.
Booking form. When you book a visit, we collect whether you're a home or business client, the services you selected, your name, email address, phone number, your street address or area if you give one, any notes you add, and your chosen callback or appointment date and time.
SMS sign-up. When you opt in to text messages, we collect your name and mobile number, and we record the time you gave consent and the version of the consent wording you agreed to.
We use this information to answer you, prepare quotes, and schedule and carry out visits. We do not use it for advertising and we do not sell it.
2) Analytics
We run our own Plausible analytics instance at plausible.georgecosystems.com. The Plausible script loads on every page of the Site; there is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to a cookie for. Plausible does not use cookies and does not store your IP address or any personal identifier. It records the page you visited, the referring site, your browser and operating system type, your device type, and your country, as aggregate statistics. Your IP address and browser signature are used briefly to tell visits apart and are not kept.
3) Browser storage
The Site itself sets no cookies. It stores one value in your browser's sessionStorage (a key named isNewSession) so the intro animation only plays once per visit. It contains no personal information and your browser deletes it when you close the tab or window.
4) Server logs
Like almost every website, our web server and form API keep standard logs: your IP address, the page or endpoint requested, and the date and time. We use these for security and troubleshooting, including limiting how often one address can submit our forms.
Where your data goes
- Email delivery (Postmark). Form submissions are sent to us as email through Postmark, our email delivery provider. Postmark processes the message content in order to deliver it and does not use it for anything else.
- Booking storage. Booking requests are also saved in a database (SQLite) on our own server so we can manage the appointment calendar and avoid double-booking.
- SMS. If you opt in to texts, your name, mobile number, consent time, and consent wording version are passed to our SMS system, which sends the messages. We will not share your mobile information with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes.
Beyond that, we only disclose personal information if the law requires it (for example a court order) or to protect our rights.
SMS / mobile communications
If you opt in via our SMS sign-up form, we use text messages for customer care and account/service notifications. Message frequency may vary, and standard message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, or get assistance by replying HELP.
How long we keep data
- Contact and booking submissions: kept until you ask us to delete them. We keep them because past conversations and visits are useful context when you come back.
- SMS consent records: kept while you are opted in, and afterward as evidence that consent was given.
- Analytics: aggregate statistics only, with no personal identifiers, kept indefinitely.
- Server logs: kept for a short period for security and troubleshooting, then discarded.
- Where we must keep something longer for legal reasons (billing records, dispute resolution), we do.
Security
The Site is served over HTTPS, form endpoints check where submissions come from and limit how fast they can arrive, and stored data lives on servers we control with access limited to the people who need it. No internet transmission is completely secure. If you have an especially sensitive request, contact us and we can arrange a safer channel.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights including:
- To request access to the personal information we hold about you
- To request correction of inaccurate data
- To request deletion of your personal information
- To object to or restrict certain processing
- To withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@georgecosystems.com. We will respond within a reasonable window (typically 30 days). We may need to verify your identity before acting on certain requests.
Children
The Site is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected such information, contact us and we will delete it.
Links to other sites
The Site may link to third-party sites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Please read the privacy policy of any site you visit.
Where data is processed
We are a United States business. Our servers and service providers are located in the United States.
Policy changes
If we make material changes to this policy we will post a notice on the Site and update the "Last updated" date above.
