Home Automation — Columbus, Ohio

Your home, working for you.

A smart home shouldn't mean pulling out your phone to turn on a light — that just moves the switch. We remove the switch. Your home learns your routine and acts on it: lights, shading, audio — all running privately on your own hardware.

What We Do

Most “smart home” setups just give you a fancier switch — an app on your phone, a voice command, a tablet on the wall. That isn't smart; it's remote control.

We design systems around how you actually live. The house learns your routine and responds: lights shift with the time of day, shading adjusts as the light changes, music follows you from room to room. You don't operate it. You simply live in it.

  • Automated lighting that responds to presence, time of day, and natural light — not a button press
  • Motorized blinds and shading — following the sun, on a schedule, or triggered by sensors
  • Whole-home audio and media
  • Everything runs privately on hardware in your home — no subscriptions, no dependency
  • Invisible by design — no tablet on the wall, no visible wiring. It doesn't look smart, it acts smart

Why Local Control

Most smart home platforms depend on the internet to function. When their service goes down, your home stops responding. When the company changes its terms, your setup changes too.

Your system runs entirely inside your home. If the internet drops, your lights and shading carry on as normal. If a manufacturer discontinues a product, nothing changes for you. You own the system outright — no ongoing fees, no dependency on anyone else's service.

Our Process

  1. Site visit and consultation — we walk through your home, talk about how you use each space, and listen before we suggest anything.
  2. Scope and quote — a clear written proposal with no hidden extras. We explain every recommendation.
  3. Installation — clean, discreet, and designed to be invisible. Neat cabling is part of the standard.
  4. Walkthrough — we show you how everything works before we leave, and make sure you're comfortable.
  5. Ongoing care — optional monthly retainer for updates, health checks, and a direct line to us whenever you need it.

What to Expect

Every home and every scope is different, so every quote follows a free site visit. Most projects fall somewhere between $6,000 and $20,000 — hardware, installation, and configuration included. Larger properties or new-build integrations may be more; a focused single-area project less.

An optional ongoing care retainer covers updates, health checks, and a direct line to us — from $80/month. We provide a detailed written quote before any work begins.
